Colorado High School Students
Win Communications Awards in 2009
Twenty-five student from three Colorado high schools submitted 50 entries in the 2009 communications contest. Thirty-five awards, ranging from first place to honorable mention, were handed out. A full list of award winners will be posted soon.

2007 High School Communications Awards
Nearly 60 Colorado high school journalists have been recognized by Colorado Press Women for their writing and graphic design skills. The students are learning journalism skills by participating in the creation and production of their school newspapers.
The contest categories include Editorial, Opinion, News, Feature, Sports, Columns, Feature Photo, Sports Photo, Cartooning, Reviews, Graphics and Page Layout. The first-place winner in each category goes on to compete in the National Federation of Press Women High School Communications Contest. National winners will be announced in September at the national conference in Richmond, Va.
